A weekend hack that would not stop growing.
PhishBlockAI started at SpurHacks 2025 — a 48-hour build sprint. One of our friends had just lost an internship to a fake recruiter email, and we wanted to know how a modern LLM would have handled it.
The first prototype reviewed the exact message in under three seconds and flagged every red flag a senior security analyst would have. We could not let it sit on a hackathon repo.
Since then we have rebuilt it twice, opened up Gmail integration, and started shaping it into something a team can actually rely on. We are still small. We still answer every email.
